Esmé (in english meaning, beloved or esteemed) wanted their brand to reflect the deep care and thought poured into every hand-made, natural candle or sophisticated, bespoke fragrance. They wanted their visual identity to embody warmth, luxury, connection, and timeless beauty—everything customers to feel when they experience the brand. A brand striving to create cherished moments of light, warmth, and beauty through sustainably crafted candles that inspire connection, calm, and intention.

Simple and elegant was the starting point for the word mark. The secondary typeface was chosen to further convey the hand-made nature of all the products. The pattern was inspired by centuries old French tiles, which for so long have been the beautiful backdrop of  beautiful artisanal craftsmanship.
